What is outrare?

Outrare is not just an online shop; it's a celebration of craftsmanship, heritage and legacy.

Located in the historical town of Oldenburg, Germany, Outrare launched in 2022 with a simple mission:
To own the single largest collection of genuine, pre-owned designer fashion in the world.
Well.. perhaps not so simple after all. But a worthy pursuit, nonetheless!

We've since assembled a team of veteran vintage fashion sourcing experts and built relationships with the top companies in the industry. Each item sold on outrare is from our private collection. We commonly source items from prestigious auction houses across the world as well as through private deals with fashion giants & enterprises.
We do not buy items from individuals. We are extremely selective with who we work with:
a commitment and passion to authenticity, luxury and craftsmanship is a requirement.

Unlike with marketplaces, you'll always be dealing directly with us. No taking chances with hobbyist sellers. All of the items are located in our warehouse & showroom (if you're planning on a trip to Oldenburg, you can book an appointment here. We're looking to open more showroom locations around the world in the near future.) They've gone through a RIGOROUS authentication process in person by our experts. You'll know that you'll get your items in time, just as they appeared on the website. If there is ever an issue or a question, your Sales Associate is one email or DM away.
